Making your own delicious yogurt at home is super easy, and beats buying it at the store.
Here's how it's done, and the materials you need to begin making your own!
Step 1: Combine one liter of regular or soy milk and one packet of yogurt culture in tank. Stir ingredients together.
Step 2: Turn on the yogurt maker.
Step 3: If you would like flavored yogurt, stir jam, vanilla extract or canned fruit into the milk mixture. If you prefer plain yogurt or to add your own toppings later, skip this step and proceed to Step 4.
Step 4: Add 1 millimeter of water in base of the yogurt maker. Put in tank, close lid and leave for 10-12 hours.
Step 5: Refrigerate for approximately 3 hours, allowing the yogurt to solidify and cool. Add toppings as desired. You can also try it as a savory condiment by adding some salt, olive oil and chives!
